Membership

Membership of ESERA is open to researchers in science education from anywhere in the world.

Membership of ESERA is free for PhD students and 60 euros per 2 years for other individuals. ESERA members who have retired from their position can continue their membership free of charge if they wish to do so.

ESERA Conferences are open to anyone interested. ESERA members, however, get a discount of 60 euros on the conference fee and can, if needed, apply for further financial support. PhD student members supervised by an ESERA member can apply to take part in and, if needed, to get financial support for the ESERA Summer Schools which provide an opportunity to interact with other students and academics. PhD student members not supervised by an ESERA member will be able to participate in the summer schools only when it is not yet fully booked, and will not be able to apply for any financial support from ESERA.

ESERA members can get a substantial reduction on an individual subscription to the International Journal of Science Education. Details about the special rate and the order form can be found at: http://www.tandf.co.uk/journals/offer/tsed-so2.asp
